Cassandra London

Introducing Cassandra London.  A fast rising singer/songwriter currently based in the UK whose passion for music has now rightfully fruited into a budding career.  Within months of making appearances at some of London's top venues for unsigned artists in 2013, Cassandra landed the opportunity to perform at the world famous Jazz Cafe in London.  Her emotional and intense performance gained the attention of Roots FM’s Dj Gussy Roots.  This meeting would prove fruitful, with Gussy playing a key role in getting Cassandra’s voice heard for the first time over the airwaves.  Since then she has released multiple songs, many of which were released on her debut  EP 'Too Blessed,’ launched on the 28th August 2014 at Brixtons’ Hootananny. Tracks from this great debut were produced by Stingray Records, Senator B of Vibes FM and other UK based labels.  The work with Senator B has produced probably her most known track to date, "Just Cool” which has already been covered by others, and is only testament to her great writing capabilities.

She has performed at many different venues and events, from Notting Hill Carnival, the Mayfair Hotel, plus numerous concerts and festivals.  Having created a large buzz for herself, some of Cassandra's first bookings were as a support artist for legends such as for Sanchez, Etana, Sandra Cross, Susan Cadogan, Winston Reedy, Carroll Thompson, Dennis Bovell, Sylvia Tella and Dawn Penn to name a few.  After travelling up and down the country now being booked to headline her own shows, she was billed in 2015 for the annual Giants of Lovers Rock show, where she wooed the crowd in the arena alongside Jamaican and UK heavyweights of reggae.

Cassandra, quickly being recognised as a serious figure in the industry, landed the opportunity to work with  UK veteran Lloyd Brown, where she penned the track "Here With Me”, produced and released last year by Carlton ‘Bubblers’ Ogilvie (Ruff Cut Band) on his own Nu-Edge record label.

She also has featured on house tracks with London based duo Ed Case & Dan Genal (State Unknown), with tracks "Need 2 Know" , "Giving Out Your Love" & "Fantasy Of Love" getting airplay on mainstream radio.  She has also collaborated on a song entitled "Taking You Down" with production team Flawless Order.  This particular song was used as the entrance anthem by boxer Mitchell Smith, who won a European title which was aired on Sky's Boxnation.

Cassandra London is just 3 years into her career and is currently working with Ten Mile Media. Currently being produced by Prince Malachi, the single, "Magic Touch,” a cover of the Rose Royce classic hit, is the first single from her debut abum aptly titled ”First Steps,” which will be released in the oncoming months. The song, distributed globally by Zojak Worldwide, is becoming hugely popular, garnering maximum airplay and support from community and internet radio stations alike, and also resounding with her now growing legion of fans and admirers.

Cassandra London has her sights set high and is now well on her way to achieving her life long dream of becoming a successful performing artist. The best is yet to come. Watch this space……
