RFUK are pleased to announce Chardel Rhoden as our October 2018 artist of the month.  Although she has been singing for a while, Chardel came to prominence when she became winner of the 1st Reggae Star Factor talent show in 2014. Check out her New album Natural Woman where you can hear her powerful & sultry vocals.

RFUK are pleased to announce Phillip Leo as our August artist of the month.  Phillip Leo, one of our unsung heroes, has been in the business since 1988, as a prolific singer/songwriter, musician as well as a Producer.

RFUK are pleased to announce Lyn Gerald as our June Artist of the month.  Lyn has been forging a name for herself in music world for many years.  Her vast credentials include working as a backing singer for artists including Womack And Womack and Sheila Ferguson (The Three Degrees).

Versatile singer / songwriter/ producer RONALD JUNIOR FRITZ (aka RANDY VALENTINE) hails from country sides of Clarendon in Jamaica. As a child growing up he was heavily influenced by his father’s love for music, which was expressed mostly via a sound system that his father owned called SHINING STAR SOUND.

We are pleased to announce Ms Cassandra London as RFUK's Artist of The Month.  Cassandra is a Rising Star who's singing style & songwriting skills have touched audiences whenever she performs.  Her new Single 'Magic Touch' is a cover of a Rose Royce 70's hit, it's been making waves on the Reggae airwaves.  We wish her every success.

Aleighcia Scott is a Singer/Songwriter from Wales.  She has been singing from an early age and is now making herself known to the music industry.  She has entered various talent competitions and was a finalist on Reggae Star Factor 2015.  You can hear her versatility and range where she covers the different genres of Reggae & R&B on her YouTube channel Aleighcia.  We are proud to have her as Artist of the Month and wish her all the best on her musical journey.

Donovan KingJay is a singer/songwriter and although mainly known for his Roots & Culture, can equally turn his deep smooth tone to Lover's Rock.  Donovan honed his craft while working with King Original Sounds and Youth Promotion.  His new album "Higher Meditation" seems set to propel him to new heights,  taking him to International status.  Please have a read of what we consider to be an outstanding artist and support him by not only listening to, but purchasing his music.

November 2016

In the late 70's Black Slate were kicking up a storm with their hit single 'Sticks Man'. They were the first UK Roots Band to perform on ‘Top of The Pops’.  They gave us 'Amigo' in the 80's, which reached no. 4 in the British Charts.  Now, newly reformed, they have been touring the US & Europe extensively and their new album 'Peaceful Demonstration' shows that they have not departed from their Roots Style.  RFUK are proud to select Black Slate as our Artist/Band of the Month.

The man who gave us 'Turn out the lights' and many delightful hits. (We hail him the 'Teddy Prendergast of Reggae!').  Michael has been working non stop on and off stage for over 40 years and has a great repertoire of music under his belt.   His current album 'Reflextions' is getting constant AirPlay and has gained him an abundance of new fans.  RFUK are proud to select Michael as our Artist of the Month
